Rocketmine signs contract with South African mining giant: Exxaro

Rocketmine, a subsidiary of the international Delta Drone Group (EPA:ALDR), consolidates its’ position as the leader in UAV (drone) solutions for the mining sector in a new deal with South African mining giant, Exarro Resources Group (JSE:EXX).

This 12 month services contract will see the delivery of detailed 3D photogrammetry models of mine stockpiles, using drone technology; allowing for accurate, safe and quick data collection and processing.

In 2016, the Exxaro Group - currently listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange with a consolidated turnover of approximately R20 billion (approx. € 1,3 billion) launched an ambitious plan to evolve towards the “digitized mine of the future” concept. The goal of this exciting venture is to have 3D digitized mining platforms wherefrom live mine planning and execution thereof can be conducted to improve mining efficiency and production. Rocketmine is extremely excited to bring cutting edge drone technology to assist in this project.
